Clinical Laboratory Sciences (CLS) Program > University Partnerships and Collaborations

University Partnerships and Collaborations

Through signature partnerships with other universities in the state, the Center for Allied Health Programs serves as a means to co-create professional programs that wisely use technology to customize learning and enhance skill acquisition, and to include content that is responsive to the changing needs of the healthcare industry.

The Clinical Lab Sciences Program has several signature partnerships with other universities, whereby students are able to take University of Minnesota CLS coursework by registering through their home institution. The University of Minnesota CLS Program offers partner program options with the following state universities:

Students remain enrolled at their home institution and fulfill all requirements for a bachelor's degree from the home institution. As part of this degree, students also enroll in the senior year CLS professional coursework at the University of Minnesota. The majority of students attend the UMR campus.

The Director of the University of Minnesota CLS Program certifies that these affiliated students are eligible to sit for national credentialing examination (insert link for NCA, ASCP).
